This transitional piece was the first step in redesigning the tail of Janice's previous pieces.  A lovely shade of colbalt blue translucent glass us used for the main body, under wing, and tail centre. It's throat and upper wing are aqua, while the breast and tail-feathers are cut from more opaque green to aqua glass.  The beak is made from wire overlay, and the finished bird has been polished to a bright silver patina. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10
