This piece is the end result of Janice's redesigning the tail feathers of from previous pieces.  A lovely shade of iridized purple glass us used for the throat, under wing, and outer tail. It's main body and breast are a lovely green that blends with the iridization on the purple glass.  Pink opal glass is used to accent the upper winds and tail center.  The beak is made from wire overlay, and the finished bird has been polished to a bright silver patina. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10
