The butterfly theme was requested by the bride and groom, and the red and white color combination was chosen to evoke a rememberance of the bride's beautiful gown. The yellow bands accenting the butterflies symbolize their wedding bands. The shade was then finished in a black patina which sharpened the lines and blended the piece nicely with the lovely wrought iron heart shaped base which tied the piece together very nicely. The base was 1 of a kind, but a similar open type wrought iron will be used in any future lamps.
