Birdseye Fir Burl Bowl (WBRDFBBE) Price: $155.00 Shipping: $45.00 $45.00 shipping handling for additional Birdseye Fir Burl Bowl BIRDSEYE FIR BURL BOWL Woodwork by Roger deBucy Size:  Approximately 3 1/2" high x 12 1/2" across the top This goregous wood-turned bowl was cut from a fir burl with beautiful markings.  Burls are a by-product of old growth logging, and generally are ground up and returned to the soil.  Out of 5 burls started, generally only 2 or 3 are good enough to become a finished bowl.  All of Roger's bowls are finished with 5 coats of polyurethane finish to meet the Canadian foodsafe guidelines.  Bowls can be used for dry goods.  Clean by wiping with a damp cloth...
