Hemlock Burl Bowl (WBRDHBBU) Price: $145.00 Shipping: $35.00 $35.00 shipping handling for additional Hemlock Burl Bowl KNOTTED BURL FIR BOWL Woodwork by Roger deBucy Size:  Approximately 4" high x 12" across the top This lovely wood-turned bowl was cut from a hemlock burl.  Burls are a by-product of old growth logging, and generally are ground up and returned to the soil.  Out of 5 burls started, generally only 2 or 3 are good enough to become a finished bowl.  All of Roger's bowls are finished with 5 coats of polyurethane finish to meet the Canadian foodsafe guidelines.  Bowls can be used for dry goods.  Clean by wiping with a damp cloth...
